The second in a series of webinars on reducing surgical site infections (SSIs) is being held on Wednesday 20 November 2013 from 3-4pm.
The webinars are part of activity for topic 2 of the Open for better care national patient safety campaign.
The webinar is a fantastic opportunity to learn from two SSI experts about the national SSI programme that all 20 district health boards have signed up to, and how it can help to prevent SSIs. It will include presentations from Dr Arthur Morris, Surgical Site Infection Improvement (SSII) Programme Clinical Lead, and Jane Barnett, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Infection Prevention & Control.
There will be a short video about the national SSI surveillance that is being done as part of the SSII programme, as well as Arthur and Jane's answers to pre-selected questions.
Register for the webinar, or find out more here.
