As part of Patient Safety Week 2016, the Health Quality & Safety Commission searched for the next poet laureate to write a patient safety-focused limerick!

The limerick should:

  • highlight one of the 2016 Patient Safety Week themes
  • use one of the following phrases: ‘patient safety week’, 'pressure injury’ or ‘let’s talk’
  • follow a standard limerick format (think hickory, dickory, dock!)
  • be fun and light-hearted.

Entries for the competition are closed but you can download more information about the limerick competition below.
