Pharmacies were invited to take part in Let's PLAN pharmacy week, which ran from 22 to 28 February 2015. The week was about encouraging people to learn more about their medicines by talking to their pharmacist, or taking away information. The overall aim was to improve health literacy and reduce harm from high-risk medicines.
Pharmacies were encouraged to have Let’s Plan resources available to their customers and enter a display competition. For more information download the Let's PLAN pharmacy week flyer.
The resources provided to pharmacies are available to download below.
Let's PLAN pharmacy week was led by the Health Quality & Safety Commission's Open for better care national patient safety campaign, in partnership with First, Do No Harm in the Northern region, and was supported by the Pharmaceutical Society and the Pharmacy Guild.
