The medication safety forum was held on 16 October and was attended by nearly 200 participants from across the sector. Perspectives, current initiatives and future directions for medication safety were explored throughout the day.

Participants shared what they were doing on medication safety through storyboards and during an interactive session, which was captured with graphic recordings.

Shelley Frost, Deputy Chair of the Commission, opened the forum and launched the high-risk medicines campaign topic. The day was expertly chaired by Dr Alan Davis and Professor Richard Day was an entertaining and thoughtful keynote speaker. We are grateful to John Smith for sharing his story on his treatment with warfarin with us at the forum. We thank all those who spoke and attended the day to make it a very successful day.

Videos and graphic recordings will be available on our website soon.
